• ATR Ratio (7, 21, 0.8)
• JMO Indicator
• Chart Time frame: 30 minutes

ATR-JMO Binary System Signals

Call options

• JMO indicator rises above 20 and ATR Ratio is greater than 0.8
• Place a Call option on the next candle with 60 minute expiry

Put options

• JMO indicator falls below 80 and ATR Ratio is greater than 0.8
• Place a Put option on the next candle with 60 minute expiry

Call Option

• The candlestick marked with the arrows indicate the indicators.
• JMO indicator rises above 20 while the ATR ratio indicator also rises above 0.8
• A call option is placed on the next candlestick with a 60 minute expiry resulting in a profit

Put Option

• The candlestick marked with the down arrows shows the JMO and ATR indicators meeting the criteria
• ATR Ratio is above 0.8 while the JMO indicator falls from 80 level
• A put option is placed with a 60 minute expiry

Strategy Tweaks and Tricks

Simple as it may look, there are many false signals generated by this strategy, which is something to bear in mind when you are following this strategy. The system could perhaps be improved by combining candlestick patterns, which however would mean lesser number of signals.

Conclusion

Although the ATR based strategy looks simple, it needs quite a bit of caution. The trade signals do not have a high rate of success and more often than not, can result in quite a few losing trades. Unless you know what you are doing, this strategy is best left to the pros.
